About Revive Detox
Welcome to Revive Detox® — a boutique, physician-supervised drug and alcohol detox center in Los Angeles, caring for adults since 2014.
When we set out to create Revive we had one set of criteria: what type of drug and alcohol detox program would we send our own loved ones to?
Revive Detox is accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (license #190836AP). Our residence at 101 N. La Peer Dr. sits in the Beverly Grove neighborhood, between Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.

Many of our staff are in recovery themselves. We have been there, and we know how anxious you can feel sifting through information trying to find the right program. We also know how much of the difficulty of detox can be eased in the right setting, with the proper attention and care.
Our Philosophy
At the core of our philosophy is compassion and passion. Our holistic and personalized treatment plans are designed to help restore hope, nurture self-discovery, rebuild self-esteem, and cultivate personal growth.
According to Dr. Ronaye Calvert’s Passion Development™ addiction treatment modality, “If we are not fulfilled and internally motivated in our lives, passionate about what we are doing and why, we simply will not stay sober.” As a substance abuse treatment facility that’s big on supportive and compassionate care, we believe that individuals need a safe, judgment-free environment where they can find solace, heal their wounds, and transform their lives.
True healing and long-term sobriety begin with empathy, understanding, and unconditional support. The team at Revive Detox is dedicated to treating every patient with respect and dignity. This is partly because many of our staff are in recovery. We’ve been there and understand that addiction is a complex and deeply personal struggle.
The REVIVE Team
Our detox and addiction treatment services rest on the compassion and capability of our medical and clinical team.
Given the seriousness of addiction — and the genuine medical risks of alcohol, opioid and benzodiazepine withdrawal — it matters that you are surrounded by qualified professionals with the right training and experience.
Care at Revive is physician-supervised. Licensed medical and clinical staff are involved in each client’s detox from admission through discharge planning, and our six-bed capacity means that attention is genuinely individual rather than nominal.
Our Approach
At Revive, we go beyond treating the symptoms of withdrawal. We offer evidence-based therapies that address the many dimensions of substance use.
Our approach to addiction treatment and withdrawal management is built on compassionate care, personalized treatment planning, a comprehensive range of services, and the Passion Development™ modality developed by Dr. Ronaye Calvert, Executive Director of Revive.
We work across all levels of chemical dependency — including alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, kratom and prescription medications — and we treat co-occurring mental health conditions alongside substance use rather than separately from it.

The Size & Enviornment
Our residence in Beverly Grove, between Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, has a maximum census of six clients. That allows us to combine medical detox with holistic, nutritional and personal care in a home rather than an institutional setting.
The Leaders
Care is physician-supervised, delivered by an experienced medical and clinical team. With six beds, the ratio of staff to clients is high by design — nobody becomes a face in the crowd.
