Dr. Ronaye Calvert-Conley

CEO & Founder

Dr. Ronaye Calvert Conley is the Executive Director of REVIVE Detox and Co-Founder of LIVE Treatment. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University in Los Angeles in 2007. Ronaye has extensive experience working in the addiction and recovery field and the LGBT community. She has a deep understanding of how personal issues may serve to motivate or hinder us and has the ability to attend to each of her clients with sensitivity and insight. While working in residential treatment settings, Ronaye directed Dual-Diagnosis treatment and, in her role as Trauma Specialist, led others to a deeper understanding of working with individuals with a history of emotional and/or sexual trauma.

As a Life Coach with LIVE, Ronaye’s personal philosophy is not to help clients see what is wrong with them, but rather to help them acknowledge and embrace what is right with them. “I have learned the value of getting out of the office and getting into the real world with my clients. I recognized a critical gap in the standard treatment model and made it my business to fill it. Clients often need help, not only discussing their feelings and problems but, taking action toward living differently. You don’t get there nearly as effectively by simply talking. In this way, I am not simply utilizing my experience and education to help clients discuss problems and think their way toward resolution; I am helping them take ACTION toward changing their lives. It is an invaluable experience to work with clients in this way as it truly expedites progress in treatment and is profoundly satisfying to witness the sense of accomplishment and self-esteem that emerges throughout this work.

Ronaye co-created the Passion Development™ addiction treatment modality “If we are not fulfilled and internally motivated in our lives, passionate about what we are doing and why, we simply will not stay sober.”
